We accept Visa, Mastercard and debit cards. Please note, payment is required at the time of your consultation, and we do not give accounts.
CDM – Medicare: If you have obtained a referral under the CDM from your GP, you may be eligable for a rebate from osteopathy or physiotherapy services. Please see your GP to discuss eligability for Chronic Disease Management conditions.
2. Referrals
A referral is not necessary to see an osteopath, however if you have any additional information from another practitioner or x-rays or results from other investigations relating to your condition please bring them along.
3. Rebates
At Keilor Health Centre, we aim to make the appointment process as simple as we can for you. HICAPS is our immediate, “on the spot” claiming facility, that can make private health insurance claims easier. If you are covered for osteopathy, physiotherapy and remedial massage treatment under you “extras” or “ancillary” private health cover, it may be worthwhile bringing your card along to every consult. After we have processed your claim, your only out of pocket expense is the gap. Of course, all health insurance companies are different and levels of cover vary with your level of cover. We cannot estimate how much your rebate will be, so you are best to check with your health insurance company first.
